China's rapid growth of optical fiber users will surpass Japan and South Korea

China's optical fiber users are growing rapidly, accounting for more than Japan and South Korea. According to statistics, as of May 2016, the number of broadband access users in China had reached 273.75 million, and the population penetration rate of broadband access users in China was 20.4%. Combined with the net increase of broadband access users in China from 2014 to 2015 and considering the growth of fixed broadband access users of China Mobile (Group Corporation), it is expected that the population penetration rate of broadband access users in China will exceed 21% in 2016.　　

Optical fiber broadband users show the trend of accelerating migration. In 2016, FTTH users developed well. With the expansion of coverage, broadband users accelerated their migration to FTTH network. From January to may, FTTH broadband users increased by 62.18 million, accounting for 66.4%.
